Favoritas De Mis Padres, the debut album from San Antonio-based accordionist Brenda Martinez, is now available on all digital platforms and on CD and Vinyl LP at Rancho Alegre's Store! The album is a collection of instrumental Conjunto tunes, paying homage to the classic instrumental Conjunto albums of masters like Ruben Naranjo, Gilberto Perez and Ruben Vela. The selections include polkas, a huapango, and a reimagined bolero, all with the feel and vibe of old-school Conjunto.

San Antonio, TX — The world premiere of “Lola,” the debut single from up and coming conjunto accordionist Brenda Martinez will hit the airwaves on Monday, November 11th at 8pm on KEDA radio with host Mark Weber.

We're excited to announce that we're doing a little "rebranding" here at Rancho Alegre and getting back in the swing of things, post-festival.

We decided that we have so many projects that we should change our organization's name to simply "Rancho Alegre." That's what everyone calls us anyway.

A few months ago, Austin-based bandleader and all-around badass J.R. Gomez had an idea. He wanted to put together a Father’s Day celebration to honor Conjunto legends featuring family bands who are continuing their tradition and following in their famous fathers’ footsteps.
