Join Rancho Alegre as we welcome Los A-T Boyz to One-2-One Bar for our July tardeada! We are honored to present one of Austin's most beloved bands at one of Austin's best live music venues.
At its core, Los A-T Boyz is a family band and La familia Rodriguez has been making great music in Austin for decades.
The group's roots stretch back to the 1960s with dad and bajo sexto player, the legendary Paco Rodriguez, whose own group was tremendously popular in central Texas and beyond.
A couple decades later, sons Raphael (sax), Paquito (accordion and trumpet) and later Fernando (drums) became musicians and formed Alma Tejana, gaining even more of a following and scoring various hits on Tejano radio.
But they weren't done evolving quite yet, as the group ultimately became Los A-T Boyz and continued to push boundaries musically with their trademark energy and charisma, even after experiencing the major heartbreak of losing Paquito to a rare form cancer in early 2016.
Their sound can best be described as a fusion of old school Tejano with cumbias and modern R&B influences.
And something to remember - they are most definitely a SHOW BAND. Never a dull moment with Los A-T Boyz, so be prepared to dance!
$7 cover, doors open at 5:30pm, music from 6-8pm.
