Hey Tejano friends,
As you can see from our website, we have been BUSY!
We will soon publish our latest playlist, featuring over 800 of the greatest Tejano and Conjunto songs ever recorded. This list is not complete, of course. Not even close. We'll be adding more, because we know how much you love to hear it.
Right now, we've got over two days' worth of music. All without commercials, and no repeats! Better than some traditional radio stations, I'd say...No, I'm not thinking of any one station in particular...
What you'll hear on this new playlist are some rare gems such as "El Precio De Tu Cariño" from Marcos Orozco and his first group, Powerhouse; special Rancho Alegre mixes of David Lee Garza y Los Musicales Live; classics from the masters; and new hits from Elida Reyna y Avante and Jimmy Gonzalez y Grupo Mazz.
As The Man previously mentioned, we have also launched Tejano-Conjuntopedia, intended to be THE place for all things Tejano and Conjunto. Artists can create and submit their profiles, to include booking information and discography. Record shops and record labels can include store hours and location and links to their various websites.
Artists can submit their profiles online and we will format them and make them look GREAT! For examples of complete profiles, check out the entries for Los Texas Wranglers and Servando Ramos y Los Texas Outlaws.
And coming up! Traders Village! Soon you'll be able to connect with other fans to discuss and trade rare and vintage recordings.
