The weather's getting cooler and we're ready for Fall events! This Fall, we're doing something a little different.
On September 14th at 7pm at the fabulous Central Machine Works in East Austin, thanks to a generous Live Music Fund grant from the City of Austin Music and Entertainment division, we'll be hosting a multicultural showcase featuring diverse cultures. You'll hear Brazilian Jazz from Paula Maya and Bossa Nova Plus, Chicano from our good friends Big Band Tejano, and Cajun dancehall music from Jesse Lége and Bosco Stomp. Free admission, all ages are welcome. Rain or Shine. Many thanks to our friends at Central Machine for hosting this event. It will be a lot of fun.
But that's not all! We'll be returning to Kyle Area Senior Zone for monthly Sunday tardeadas featuring...drumroll please...the triumphant return of DJ Baldomero El Parrandero Cuellar! That's right! Our Head Queso has decided to get back into the DJ game and we couldn't be happier. He plays a great mix of Conjunto, Tejano, Orquesta, Old School R&B and more, depending on the crowd. This one is for Seniors (age 50 and up) only, and donations are welcome to help our friends at Kyle Area Senior Zone.
We hope you'll join us and we look forward to seeing you all again soon.
